Special Education Teacher | Bloomfield, Connecticut

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification required
- Previous experience with K-7th grade students preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to provide differentiated instruction and manage caseloads
- Experience in resource rooms or as a special education case manager a plus
- In-person candidates only—remote options are not available
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for assigned students
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families
- Deliver instruction in both individual and small-group settings
- Manage caseloads specific to your assigned grade band
- Provide ongoing academic and behavioral support
- Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with guidelines
