Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Previous experience working in a school setting with K–7th grade students
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with general educators, staff, and families
- Dedication to promoting inclusion and positive outcomes for all students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide resource support to assigned grade levels, adapting instruction and accommodations to individual needs
- Serve as case manager for students with IEPs, ensuring compliance and effective implementation
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support each student’s academic and emotional growth
- Maintain accurate records, monitor progress, and report findings in a timely manner
- Engage in professional development and remain current on best practices in special education
