Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher License
- Orton Gillingham Credential, with demonstrated expertise in multisensory reading intervention
- Experience working in a school setting with high school and/or middle school populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized, 1:1 Orton Gillingham-based reading instruction to students in grades 6–12
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes to guide instructional planning
- Adapt lessons and strategies to meet each student’s unique learning profile
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to promote academic achievement
- Support case management tasks, including IEP implementation and progress monitoring
