Special Education Teacher | Brunswick, Ohio

- Elementary Autism Unit (caseload of 6)
- Two Multiple Disabilities (MD) Units, Elementary (caseloads of 8 each)
- Elementary Inclusion Classroom
- Middle School Multiple Disabilities (MD) Unit (caseload of 8)
- Middle School Emotional Disturbance (ED) Unit (caseload of 10)
- Middle School Cross-Categorical Classroom (caseload of 16)
- Middle School Inclusion Classroom (caseload of 16)
What You’ll Need:
- Active and appropriate Intervention Specialist license
- Previous experience or strong interest in special education—elementary and/or middle school preferred
- Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive, adaptive learning space for all students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted instruction within assigned unit or inclusion setting
- Modify curriculum and teaching strategies based on student needs
- Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and families
- Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation
- Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to foster student success
