Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas Educator License with Special Education and Core/Generalist endorsements
- Proven Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) experience, including comfort contributing during meetings
- Familiarity with foundational and life-skills curriculum for EC-6 students
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies for a range of support needs
- Commitment to upholding dress code policy: professional attire, limited piercings, natural hair colors, and covered tattoos
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans aligned with students’ needs
- Deliver engaging instruction to enhance life and functional skills for learners with varying abilities
- Actively participate in ARD meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress and maintain accurate records to support student development
