Several contract positions are open for professionals specializing in developmental cognitive disabilities, emotional behavioral disorders, autism, and specific learning disabilities. Roles are available in a variety of specialized settings and across multiple grade levels. Contract dates run from August 24, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
We’re seeking passionate educators for these positions:
- Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (Setting 3)
- Emotional Behavioral Disorder (Settings 1 & 2)
- Autism (Settings 1, 2 & 3)
- Specific Learning Disability (Settings 1 & 2)
- Special Education (Settings 1, 2, & 4)
What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with families, support staff, and other educators to enhance student success
- Maintain accurate records and provide progress updates
- Utilize evidence-based interventions tailored to each student's unique learning style
- Participate in team meetings and professional learning as required
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Active Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (required)
- Strong background in one or more of the following: developmental cognitive disabilities, emotional behavioral disorders, autism, or specific learning disabilities
- Experience in a school setting, preferably with students in specialty programs or inclusive classrooms
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive environment for every learner
A variety of locations and settings are available, with some hybrid flexibility considered. If you have previously worked in this district, a positive employment history is required.
