This contract opportunity offers two full-time positions available for an immediate start, extending through the remainder of the school year. One role centers on case management responsibilities, while the other takes on a traditional teaching position with a caseload of 20 elementary students. Both roles focus on providing individualized instruction and support in an inclusive, collaborative environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching credentials required
- Experience with elementary school students preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well with diverse student populations, families, and staff
- Organizational skills and adaptability to handle case management or teaching responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned students
- Provide direct instruction, accommodations, and modify curriculum as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to maximize student learning
- Monitor and document student progress, updating goals and strategies as required
- Manage student caseloads, with one position focusing on case management and the other on direct teaching
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
