We’re seeking dedicated Special Education professionals for two unique assignments:
- One position focuses on case management, coordinating IEPs, collaborating with service providers, and communicating with families.
- The other is a traditional classroom role, maintaining a caseload of 20 elementary students and delivering tailored instruction.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification as required by state standards
- Experience with elementary-grade students and a range of learning needs
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary school teams
- Compassionate, flexible approach to diverse learning and behavioral needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals
- Manage a classroom or assigned caseload, ensuring all students’ progress and engagement
- Develop, review, and update IEPs in collaboration with families and support staff
- Provide ongoing assessment and adapt strategies to meet students’ evolving needs
- Serve as a liaison between students, staff, and families
- Maintain thorough records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
