Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Fluency in English and another language (Spanish preferred)
- Experience working with elementary-age students, ideally in special education settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and staff
- Ability to adapt lessons and support to varying learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to 4th and 5th-grade students with diverse learning requirements
- Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) in collaboration with fellow educators and specialists
- Communicate progress and needs effectively to families and school teams
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the unique needs of bilingual learners
- Maintain accurate records and provide timely documentation as required
