Compensation for this opportunity reflects a competitive hourly range of $45–$55, and includes a comprehensive benefits package and 401k plan.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- An active California Education Specialist Instruction Credential in either Extensive Support Needs (ESN) or Mild to Moderate Disabilities
- Experience working in middle school or junior high environments (preferred)
- A strong grasp of IEP processes, service delivery, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing specialized academic instruction and support to 7th and 8th grade students within the RSP program
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with general education teachers and school teams to adapt curriculum as needed
- Collecting and analyzing student data to adjust interventions and supports
- Communicating regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
