Assignment Overview:
- Full academic year position: August 10, 2026 – May 20, 2027
- 37.5 hours per week, onsite only
- Multiple roles available: • High School SPED Teachers for English and Biology • Middle School SPED Resource • Four Elementary SPED roles in Intensive Learning Center settings (ILC) • One Pullout/Inclusion combination role • SPED Pre-Kindergarten
- Emphasis on supporting diverse learners through both inclusion and resource programs
- Foster cooperative relationships with staff, students, and families
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide differentiated instruction to meet student-specific learning goals
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Assess student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
