Intervention Specialist (2 Openings) – 2026–2027 School Year

⏰ Schedule: 2–3 Days per Week (Monday–Wednesday)
🕒 Hours: 4–6 Hours per Day (18–24 Hours per Week)

Position Overview
We are seeking two dedicated Intervention Specialists to support a K–8 student population during the 2026–2027 school year. These part-time positions offer a consistent and flexible schedule at a single school location, providing an excellent opportunity for educators seeking meaningful work with a balanced schedule.
The Intervention Specialists will provide specialized support services, collaborate with school staff and families, and help students achieve academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success.
Position Details
- School Year: 2026–2027
- Dates: August 20, 2026 – May 29, 2027
- Schedule: 2–3 days per week (Monday–Wednesday)
- Hours: 4–6 hours per day
- Weekly Hours: Approximately 18–24 hours
- School Site: One location
- Student Population: Kindergarten through 8th Grade
Caseload
- Approximately 16 students per provider
- Students present with a variety of educational and support needs
- Additional caseload details will be provided during the interview process
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction and intervention services to assigned students
- Support the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
- Participate in meetings and consultations as needed
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes student growth and achievement
Qualifications
- Active Intervention Specialist or Special Education licensure required (state-specific requirements apply)
- Experience working with K–8 students preferred
- Knowledge of special education processes, IEP implementation, and student support strategies
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
