Special Education Teacher - Denver, Colorado

Qualifications
- Valid Special Education Teaching credential
- Experience working with students with autism, behavioral, emotional, developmental, or intellectual disabilities
- Familiarity with individualized instruction, IEP implementation, and data-driven teaching
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to provide high structure and support for early skill development or prepare older students for greater independence
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver individualized instruction in academics, social skills, and life skills tailored to program and student needs
- Implement behavior regulation strategies and establish supportive classroom routines
- Track student progress and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with school staff, related service providers, and families
- Support students in developing skills for classroom success, peer interaction, and future independence
This full-time contract role runs from ASAP through late May, following a standard school-day schedule (7:45am–3:15pm). Interviews are available immediately, between 9am–4pm MST.
