Special Education Teacher in Longmont, CO

Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Special Education Certificate
- Demonstrated experience as a Special Education Teacher or Case Manager, preferably with middle or high school students
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in creating, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
- Commitment to inclusive practices and student-centered teaching
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage caseloads of special education students at either the middle or high school level
- Develop and oversee implementation of Individualized Education Plans
- Deliver direct instruction and support in academic and functional skills
- Communicate progress to families and school staff, coordinating meetings and updates as needed
- Document assessments, services, and compliance to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations
