Qualifications:
- Valid LBS1 Illinois teaching certification
- Experience in special education settings or student teaching in self-contained classrooms

Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to students in self-contained LBS1 classrooms
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in coordination with related service providers and family members
- Foster an inclusive, positive classroom culture that promotes academic and social-emotional growth
- Utilize evidence-based strategies and differentiated instruction to meet students’ unique needs
- Maintain clear, ongoing communication with families, support staff, and administrators
- Document student progress, manage classroom organization, and participate in IEP meetings
