Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
- Strong ability to manage classroom dynamics and cultivate a positive learning space
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and families
- Experience working with elementary or middle school students
What You’ll Do:
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet each student’s specific needs
- Provide direct instruction in all core subject areas for students in self-contained settings
- Differentiate lessons and modify curriculum to support various learning styles and abilities
- Work collaboratively with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and general education staff
- Maintain organized records and progress monitoring for compliance and student growth
- Foster strong relationships with students and families to encourage engagement and achievement
