Special Education Teacher in Easton, MD

Qualifications & Experience
- MD Special Education License (required)
- Experience with elementary-aged students, especially in resource or co-teaching environments
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Compassionate, patient demeanor and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
Responsibilities
- Deliver small-group and individualized instruction aligned with students’ IEPs
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers to support inclusive learning
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Foster a welcoming, respectful classroom environment that encourages positive behavior and learning
- Maintain accurate records, assessments, and documentation in accordance with school policies
- Engage regularly with families and support staff to promote student growth
