Special Education Teacher in Eden Prairie, MN

All positions are based onsite, with locations across several school campuses.
These dynamic roles offer the opportunity to work within specialized environments, including Autism Spectrum Disorder settings and Developmental Cognitive Disabilities classrooms, or as part of itinerant and homebound instructional teams. Caseloads range from small groups (4–6 students) to larger classroom settings (up to 19 students), providing a range of teaching experiences tailored to your expertise.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license is required
- Experience or strong interest in special education settings, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD), and Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)
- Ability to work onsite at various campus locations as assigned
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a collaborative approach
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction in accordance with IEPs and district guidelines
- Develop lesson plans and adapt curriculum to meet students’ needs
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and timely reporting for each student on the caseload
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and compliance activities as required
