Special Education Teacher - Elk River, Minnesota

Desired Qualifications/Experience:
- Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
- Demonstrated expertise in supporting students with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities
- Experience writing and implementing IEPs with measurable, individualized goals
- Strong ability to adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to various learning needs
- Excellent communication skills to partner with staff, families, and related service providers
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted instruction and interventions for elementary students in the Ready, Set, Launch program
- Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Create a positive, structured environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
- Engage in regular collaboration with special education team members, general educators, and support staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete required reporting in compliance with district and state standards
