Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility for certification)
- Experience in special education settings, preferably with push-in service delivery
- Ability to adapt lessons and provide differentiated instruction
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
- Passion for fostering inclusive and positive learning environments
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads and provide timely reporting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students on caseload(s), primarily through push-in services
- Collaborate with general education staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and progress monitoring for assigned students
- Adapt curriculum and instructional methods to meet diverse learning needs
- Foster a welcoming and productive classroom environment that promotes student growth
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and planning sessions as needed
