Special Education Teacher - Evans, GA

Make a meaningful difference as a Special Education Teacher supporting a dedicated group of students in a collaborative and welcoming school environment. This full-time, onsite position offers the chance to deliver individualized academic and behavioral support as an IRR Teacher for approximately 15–18 students, starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 2027.

Qualifications:
- Active GaPSC/Georgia General SPED Certification (or similar) required and must be submitted with your application
- Previous experience in school-based special education roles
- Proven skills in case management, IEP development and implementation
- Ability to collaborate with general education teachers and related service staff
- Strong classroom management, communication, and documentation abilities
- Reliable transportation and full-time availability (Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to a caseload of 15–18 students in an inclusive resource setting
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
- Implement and monitor IEPs according to state and federal guidelines
- Partner with families, school staff, and administrators to foster a supportive environment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and compliance requirements
