What You’ll Bring:
- Valid and active GaPSC Certification, Georgia General SPED Certification, or a similar credential (must provide certification snapshot for consideration)
- Prior experience working in school-based special education roles
- Proficiency in delivering differentiated instruction and adapting curriculum for diverse learners
- Demonstrated strength in IEP case management and documentation
- Exceptional classroom management and communication skills
- Strong collaborative spirit for teaming with general education staff
- Reliable transportation to and from the school site
- Full-time availability, Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction tailored to students’ IEP goals in an inclusive, resource, or self-contained setting
- Consult and collaborate with education team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for each student
- Monitor, document, and report student progress
- Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment that encourages growth and engagement
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as needed
