ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to support a school district in Forest Lake, Minnesota. This is a long-term substitute opportunity serving preschool-aged students (3–5 years old). The district is seeking a full-time candidate but is open to a part-time morning schedule for the right applicant. There is also the potential for the assignment to be extended if additional leave coverage is needed.
Position Overview
The Early Childhood Special Education Teacher will provide specialized instruction and support to preschool-aged students while collaborating with families, school staff, and related service providers to promote developmental and academic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction and support for students receiving early childhood special education services
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Adapt instruction to meet the developmental and educational needs of young learners
- Collaborate with families, administrators, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with state and district requirements
- Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements
- Active Minnesota Teaching License with Early Childhood Special Education endorsement
- Required dual certification as outlined on the Minnesota teaching license
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged students preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
