Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico teaching certificate in Special Education (current/active)
- Experience developing IEPs and facilitating special education services
- Strong communication, organization, and compliance skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide both pull-out and push-in special education services for 12 students, primarily grades 6–8
- Support students from screening and identification through IEP development and regular progress monitoring
- Ensure all IEPs and evaluation reports are organized, accurate, and meet legal/compliance standards
- Collaborate with school leaders and team members to facilitate inclusion and effective student integration
- Oversee transition and placement for new students, managing evaluation timelines and documentation
