Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support student behaviors through evidence-based, positive behavior interventions.
- Foster student engagement to decrease classroom and work avoidance.
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure IEPs are current and compliant.
- Serve as a communication bridge between parents, school staff, and related services.
- Lead, mentor, and collaborate with Instructional Assistants in the classroom.
- Establish trusting relationships, promoting student achievement and emotional well-being.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid teaching license with at least a Mild Intervention endorsement (required).
- Experience supporting students with behavioral challenges or Emotional Disturbance is preferred.
- Demonstrated strength in behavior management, organization, and professional communication.
- Proven reliability and collaborative spirit within a school environment.
