This onsite opportunity is available immediately and will continue through the end of the 2026–2027 school year, serving a caseload of 15–18 students in a dynamic educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized, research-based instruction to students with diverse learning needs in resource and inclusion settings
- Collaborate with general education staff to provide accommodations and modifications as outlined in students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Support the development, implementation, and documentation of IEPs in adherence with state and district guidelines
- Foster a positive and structured classroom environment that maximizes student growth
- Communicate proactively with families and multidisciplinary team members regarding students' progress
- Maintain accurate records, data, and progress monitoring for compliance and reporting purposes
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities
- Ensure reliable, daily, onsite presence for the duration of the assignment
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) certification in Special Education or closely related field (include a snapshot of current certification with your application)
- Demonstrated experience in a school-based special education setting
- Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
- Expertise in IEP development, case management, and progress documentation
- Full-time Monday–Friday availability and dependable transportation
