Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid teaching license with Special Education certification
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in 2nd and/or 3rd grade
- Knowledge of adapted curriculum and experience implementing intensive academic or behavioral interventions
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to partner effectively with instructional assistants
- Exceptional communication abilities for engaging with students, families, and team members
Your Role:
- Plan and deliver differentiated instruction suited to various learning styles and student needs
- Work closely with two teaching assistants to ensure the success of all students in your classroom
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to promote academic growth and independence
- Communicate regularly with families about student successes, needs, and ongoing support
- Maintain a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
