Special Education Teacher in Heyworth, IL

Qualifications:
- Current Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- LBS 1 endorsement mandatory
- Open to fully virtual candidates as well as those able to work onsite
- Experience with K-12 special education populations preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with general education staff, parents, and related services
- Comfortable working 35 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
- Deliver high-quality differentiated instruction tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with educational teams to monitor progress and adapt strategies as necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with all regulations
- Engage with parents and caregivers to support positive educational outcomes
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom, whether in person or online
