Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification required
- Experience working with middle school students (Grades 6-8), especially those with a range of abilities from mild to severe
- Current Medicaid NCI number is mandatory
- Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
- Demonstrates excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Must successfully pass a background check
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and adapt individualized education programs (IEPs) for each student
- Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction aligned with students’ goals and needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Monitor and report on student progress, making data-driven adjustments as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with special education regulations
