Desired Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience or passion for working with middle school students
- Ability to manage a caseload of diverse learners (mild to severe needs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school staff
- Current Medicaid NCI # required
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide differentiated instruction tailored to student needs and learning styles
- Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Work closely with general educators, support staff, and administration
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive classroom culture
