- Elementary School: 10 teachers
- Middle School: 5 teachers
- High School: 4 teachers
- Bridges/Alternative School (all grades): 2 teachers (severe behaviors focus)
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Kansas teaching license in Special Education, valid for the specific grade level prior to placement.
- Experience working with students in life skills, autism spectrum, or behavioral support settings is preferred.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and adaptability in diverse and dynamic learning environments.
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom where all students can succeed.
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Delivering engaging curriculum in settings focused on life skills, autism, or behavioral support.
- Collaborating with fellow teachers, administrators, and support staff for holistic student care.
- Maintaining proactive communication with families to track and support student progress.
- Creating a safe, respectful environment that develops both the academic and social skills of every student.
