Requirements for Consideration:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) in hand
- LBS1 endorsement
- Experience working with K-12 students in a special education environment
- Flexible and adaptive teaching approach
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner with staff, families, and students
- Comfort integrating technology into learning platforms, especially for virtual instruction
- Ability to commit to a 35-hour workweek
In this impactful role, responsibilities include:
- Plan and deliver individualized instruction for students with special needs
- Maintain compliance with IEP development, implementation, and documentation
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
- Adapt curriculum and learning environments to meet students’ unique needs
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding progress and strategies
- Track and assess student growth, leveraging data to inform instruction
- Ensure a compassionate, inclusive atmosphere that supports every learner’s success
