Special Education Teacher - Le Roy, Illinois

Ideal candidates will bring their expertise in special education along with the following qualifications:
- Active PEL (Professional Educator License) in hand
- LBS 1 endorsement
- Previous experience working with students in K-12 settings preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to tailor instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners
- Collaborative mindset, comfortable working with IEP teams and families
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload remotely if needed
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing IEPs for a diverse group of students
- Providing differentiated instruction in both individual and small group formats
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records
- Working collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and parents
- Participating in IEP meetings and other team planning sessions
- Utilizing virtual teaching platforms and tools effectively, if working remotely
