Early Childhood Education (ECE) Special Education Teacher - Longmont, Colorado
Step into a vital role supporting young learners and their families as a full-time Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a dynamic school environment near Longmont, CO. You’ll work Monday through Friday, providing 35 hours per week of impactful instruction and support to a diverse K-12 caseload.
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado teaching license/certification required
- Special Education/Early Childhood Special Education endorsement preferred
- Experience working with students in K-12 special education settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop inclusive, individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Passion for fostering student success, growth, and independence
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction based on IEP goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure student needs are met
- Assess student performance and progress, and maintain detailed records
- Modify curriculum and adapt instructional strategies to suit a spectrum of abilities
- Foster a positive, supportive, and structured classroom environment
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-based team collaborations
