Special Education Teacher in Los Angeles, CA

As an ECSE Teacher, your day will be thoughtfully structured. You'll manage two dynamic classroom sessions: 8:30 am to 11:00 am and 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm, with work hours from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm (including a one-hour unpaid lunch). You'll find fulfillment guiding students through targeted instruction while collaborating with staff and families to foster each child’s growth.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid ECSE teaching credentials (required)
- Experience with early childhood special education populations
- Passion for developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting curriculum
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and team members
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 20 students with diverse needs
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to children with special needs
