Role Overview:
- Itinerant Inclusion Specialist position, approximately 30 hours per week
- Support 2 students in a K-8 downtown school setting and 4 students between high school (9th/10th) and elementary grades (8th/4th)
- Provide curriculum support, implement modifications, and deliver individualized 1:1 assistance for students requiring additional academic or behavioral support
- Engage with professionals under the LAUSD SELPA
Desired Qualifications:
- Current or eligible Special Education Teacher certification
- Demonstrated experience in special education instructional support
- Proven ability to adapt curriculum and modify learning environments as needed
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with school staff, families, and service teams
- Knowledge of Welligent documentation system highly beneficial
