Special Education Teacher | Maple Grove, Minnesota

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Minnesota (MN) Teaching Certification required (must be attached to resume for consideration)
- Tier 3 or 4 certification in Special Education
- Experience working with elementary resource caseloads preferred
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and problem-solving
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored direct instruction to students on your assigned caseload
- Adapt general education lessons for special education students
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and other specialists
- Track and report on student progress toward IEP goals
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development
The assignment runs from early September through early June, working weekdays with a full schedule of 37.5 hours each week. Expect to be immersed in a collaborative and innovative atmosphere, making every day meaningful for both you and your students.
