Special Education Teacher | Maple Grove, Minnesota

Key Qualifications:
- A valid Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 Special Education Teacher license (required for consideration)
- Demonstrated experience or training working with elementary students with autism and diverse developmental challenges
- Solid understanding of differentiated strategies, positive behavior supports, and IEP implementation
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff, families, and related service providers
Primary Duties:
- Deliver individualized instruction and supports aligned with each student's IEP within the Ready, Set, Launch program
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including specialists, therapists, and paraprofessionals—to foster student growth
- Monitor, document, and communicate progress toward academic, behavioral, and social goals
- Adapt lessons and classroom structure to suit the learning profiles of all students
- Cultivate an inclusive, safe, and welcoming classroom atmosphere
- Engage regularly with families, keeping them informed of student successes and challenges
This role is Monday through Friday, with a schedule of 37.5 hours weekly. You'll experience the deep rewards that come from helping students develop confidence, independence, and essential life skills.
