Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current North Carolina Special Education Teacher certification (SPED)
- Demonstrable experience in a school or academic setting working with students with disabilities
- Strong knowledge of IEP implementation, special education compliance, and paperwork procedures
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to start ASAP and commit through the end of this school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Complete all necessary special education paperwork accurately and on time
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive support for students
- Monitor and document student progress while adapting strategies as needed
