Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Current, active Louisiana Department of Education teaching certification, including a Special Education endorsement (SPED)
- Must not require TA or TAT licensure; only fully certified candidates are eligible for consideration
- Experience working with a variety of student needs in a special education setting preferred
- Able to meet time-sensitive credentialing criteria, including district-required drug screening and fingerprinting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to meet the individual needs of students with varying educational requirements
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and administrators to support student success
