Special Education Teacher | Mobile, Alabama

You'll work on a close-knit campus, guiding a manageable caseload of 12 remarkable children with help from a paraprofessional. This full-time role runs from 7:40am to 3:20pm, Monday through Friday, for a total of 35 hours per week. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Educator Certification; image of current licensure required
- Prior experience in self-contained special education classrooms is highly desirable
- Familiarity working with K–5 age groups, particularly students with autism
- Ability to assist with toileting needs and provide a nurturing classroom environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and adapt instruction to meet IEP goals
- Foster an inclusive, vibrant classroom culture that champions safety and learning
- Coordinate with paraprofessionals, families, and related service providers
- Maintain well-organized records and track student progress
- Support students in daily living tasks and social-emotional growth
