We are looking for educators who are committed to helping students succeed and who value having a staffing partner that provides support before, during, and throughout their assignment.
Compensation begins at $40/hour for new graduates and increases based on experience, credentials, and assignment flexibility.
Position Responsibilities
The Special Education Teacher will:
- Develop and implement individualized instruction plans.
- Support students through effective teaching strategies and interventions.
- Maintain accurate student records and progress documentation.
- Participate in IEP development and meetings.
- Collaborate with school teams and families.
- Create a structured and welcoming classroom environment.
- Support academic, behavioral, and developmental growth.
- Follow school and special education compliance guidelines.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Alabama Special Education teaching certification or eligibility
- Ability to complete required district onboarding
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous school experience
- IEP experience
- Classroom management experience
- Experience supporting students with disabilities
