Special Education Teacher | Oceanside, California
Exciting opportunities are available for dedicated special educators ready to make a meaningful impact in an elementary SCSB (Autism) classroom. This contract position offers the chance to work with approximately 11 students (subject to change) in a supportive environment located near Oceanside, CA. The role is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through the end of the school year on June 9, 2027, providing stability and growth potential.

Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential with authorization for extensive support needs.
- Experience working in specialized classrooms, preferably with elementary-aged students diagnosed with autism.
- Strong understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), data collection, and goal setting.
- Ability to adapt lesson plans to varying student needs and learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff, families, and related service providers.
- Dedication to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement tailored instructional strategies to support students’ academic and behavioral growth.
- Manage and monitor IEPs, tracking progress and updating plans as needed.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and adaptive technologies to enhance learning and engagement.
- Foster a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom culture.
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, specialists, and families to promote student success.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings.
