This full-time contract position spans the 2026–2027 academic year, beginning August 17, 2026, and concluding May 27, 2027. The role is onsite and designed for professionals who thrive in collaborative environments and are committed to fostering academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado Special Education License (Mild/Moderate) or eligibility via reciprocity
  • Demonstrated experience supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities
  • Proficiency in IEP development, progress monitoring, and special education compliance
  • Skilled in differentiated instruction, behavioral interventions, and inclusive practices
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
  • Preferred: Experience across K–12 settings, alternative or therapeutic education environments, and familiarity with PBIS, MTSS, BIPs, and FBAs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction to students in mild/moderate special education settings
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct ongoing student progress assessments and maintain compliance documentation
  • Collaborate with general education staff, families, and inter-disciplinary teams to support student growth
  • Provide accommodations and differentiated instruction tailored to individual needs
  • Implement appropriate behavioral interventions and supports
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary meetings
  • Adhere to IDEA, state, and district regulations
  • Create a safe, inclusive classroom that promotes independence and engagement
