Available Opportunities:
- Special Education Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations, support eligibility determinations, write detailed reports, and help develop compliant IEPs.
- Setting III/IV (Restore Program): Teach and support high school students with significant emotional, behavioral, or academic needs in a therapeutic environment.
- Elementary ASD Center-Based: Deliver individualized instruction to elementary students within a structured Autism Spectrum Disorder program at the center-based level.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or closely related field.
- Active Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License or eligibility for reciprocity.
- Experience in IEP development, case management, and special education compliance.
- Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively with staff and families.
- Preferred: Licensure in areas such as ABS, ASD, EBD, DD, or LD.
- Experience with: Special education assessments, ASD, Setting III/IV classrooms, crisis prevention, PBIS, MTSS, FBAs, BIPs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs.
- Deliver specially designed instruction tailored to student needs.
- Document progress and maintain compliance with all state and federal laws.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers.
- Foster inclusive, supportive classroom environments.
- Implement and monitor behavior plans and interventions.
