Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid state certification in Special Education (K-8)
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred
- Ability to skillfully manage and adapt to large and diverse caseloads
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
- A high level of organization and flexibility to address evolving student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective, individualized education plans for a range of K-8 students
- Provide specially designed instruction and monitor progress toward IEP goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress and required reporting
- Foster an inclusive learning environment that empowers all students
