Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification
- Experience with K-8 student populations preferred
- Strong organizational skills to efficiently split caseloads and service minutes between age groups
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
- Commitment to individualized education programs and inclusive classroom practices
- Ability to start in time for summer in-service orientation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for assigned students
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students’ diverse needs across various age groups
- Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and service minutes
- Participate actively in campus meetings, professional development, and parent communication
- Foster an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere
