Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education K-12 required
- Familiarity with supporting students who have multiple disabilities, including visual impairment
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities
- Experience with students with visual impairments and/or multiple disabilities preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and re-evaluation reports
- Conduct functional vision and learning media assessments
- Deliver engaging, accessible instruction using braille, large print, tactile, and auditory formats
- Integrate and support assistive technology
- Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Foster independence, social-emotional skills, and positive behavior
- Maintain detailed documentation and support compliance
