Open Classrooms:
- Special Day Class (SDC): 2 positions available.
- Resource Specialist Program (RSP): 2 positions available.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid California Teaching License required for all positions.
- SDC Teachers: Must hold Moderate/Severe Credentials and Autism Authorization.
- RSP Teachers: Must hold Mild/Moderate Credentials.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, collaborative mindset.
- Experience managing and instructing students with varying learning needs preferred.
- Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted instruction aligned with IEP goals in inclusive and specialized settings.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, families, and support staff to foster success in all learning environments.
- Maintain a structured, supportive, and engaging classroom culture.
- Assess and document student growth, adapting strategies as needed.
- Coordinate and work alongside paraeducators; each classroom benefits from a robust 3-to-1 para support ratio.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of learning and inclusion.
