ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist (Special Education Teacher) to support a high school caseload in the Reynoldsburg, Ohio area for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time role focuses on providing targeted academic and behavioral support to students in a structured school environment. This opportunity is ideal for educators experienced in special education services, IEP development, and intervention strategies, with a preference for those with math intervention experience.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- 2026–2027 school year (August 12, 2026 – May 21, 2027)
- High school caseload (~24 students)
- Potential middle school placement (~20 students)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver targeted academic interventions, including math support when applicable
- Support students with learning disabilities, behavioral needs, and skill development
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with IDEA and Ohio state guidelines
- Foster a structured and supportive classroom environment
Required Qualifications:
- Active Ohio Intervention Specialist License (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Experience with high school or middle school SPED caseloads preferred
- Background in math intervention or academic support strategies is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
